The International Textile Federation Conference will be held in KEQIAO in early November

November 4 to 6, the world-class textile event---2023 International Textile Manufacturers Federation China Shaoxing Keqiao Conference will be held, more than 400 guests from 19 countries and regions gathered. The International Textile Federation Conference will be hold in Keqiao for the first time, once again highlighting the powerful magnetic field effect and international discourse of Keqiao as International textile capital.

It is reported that the conference is sponsored by the International Textile Manufacturers Federation, China Textile Industry Federation, Shaoxing Municipal People's Government, Keqiao District people's Government, China Textile Information Center, China Textile International Exchange Center. Focusing on "digitalization and recycling - shaping the textile industry's trend" theme, the conference will meet the challenges and discuss the development of the global textile industry.

This is the third time that the International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF) has organized a conference in China, having held it in Shanghai and Beijing in 2009 and 2014 respectively. The federation, headquartered in Zurich and founded in 1904, is one of the world's oldest non-governmental organizations (NGO) and an international forum for the world's textile industry, with member associations and member companies from the textile and textile-related industries. As an important event for the global textile industry, the International Textile Federation Conference  has become an important platform for promoting international exchanges and cooperation. The conference focuses on digital economy and green transformation. Entrepreneurs and branding experts from leading companies in the industry, such as Anta Group, Weiqiao Textile, Lenzing Group, IKEA and Amazon China, as well as winners of the 2023 IFTEC Startups Award, will be invited to discuss the topics of "Technology and Innovation", "Industry 5.0 - Humans and Artificial Intelligence Robotics", and other topics, discussing how the textile manufacturing industry can adapt to the current changes in the global economic and trade landscape and digitalization trends to achieve healthy and sustainable development. At the same time, it will implement the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and promote the realization of the industry's development results for the benefit of all mankind. The conference will invite experts from the field of social labor in the Netherlands (SLCP) and the field of the UN Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Action (FICCA), as well as representatives of research institutes and industry enterprises from Hong Kong, China and Sweden and Indonesia, to share the practical experience of the textile industry in reducing its carbon footprint and building a sustainable fashion industry chain.
